Late night run

Its so nice to be able to run at night and not worry about dying, that is the one thing I do miss alot about being home is a safe neighborhood at about 9:00pm I was hungry but I didnt want something huge because I was going for a run at 9:30

at 9:30 I set out on a 5 mile run with my new heart rate monitor! I finished in 1:12 mins I walk ran the whole time then for a cool down I took a 30 min relaxing walk. This is from my run my heart rate was sky high.. I haven't worked out in a while because of finals. BIG MISTAKE!





Tomorrow is going to be a long day of unpacking and cleaning and organizing so much fun...

Home

Being home has never felt so good, everything is easier with out the major stressor of school.I am back from school and already it has never been easier to eat healthly. Last night was one of the worst nights in about a year regarding eating bad day I have struggled with bulimia and binge eating ever since I have left for school and a little before, I have tried many methods in trying to get rid of it but it keeps coming back. I am ready for this to change I am ready to be happy with my body and healthy again. I am ready to win this battle. For the last week I have been eating the worst I have been in 1 year from fast food to pizza to ice cream my excuse was because of finals, eating that bad food I not only felt bad about myself but I felt bad physically. I also didn't work out during finals because I was studying my life again literally didnt get any sleep I was studying every waking hour. Looking back not working out just added to the stress. I hate to admit it but I have gained about 30 pounds I need to look reality in the eye and make it stop! from my thinnest even though I wasn't healthy nor happy at my thinest.  Now I am ready to find my feel good weight, numbers don't really matter to me I just want to feel good again and have my clothes fit and also be fit ( be able to run and workout hard ect.)


I woke up around 11 today after a night of staying out and bingeing. NEVER AGIAN. I mean it I am truly sick of hearing myself say that over and over.


For brunch I had
1/3 of a banana 
3oz of strawberries
1/3 of Kashi
1/2 cup of almond milk
5oz Plain Greek Yogurt


I am a protein fanatic, If a meal/snack does not consist of 10 grams of protein or more its does not keep me full.. or so I tell myself.This is a protein power breakfast packing in 21 grams of protein and only 30 carbs and about 200 calories. This breakfast is the perfect balance with carbs and protein and keeps me full forever!


I ran errands all day, Im trying to get myself organized after seeing how un organized I was at school. But organization comes with a price...so far I have spent over 200 on buying things to get organized.. most of what I dont need but I am a pack rat so It is time to part with some of my belongings. I also made a trader joes run which they do not have where I go to school so I spent a little more than I should have. I bought some of my favorites including Kashi,Puffins,Raisins (they have the best), Almonds, Bananas, Romaine (Love theirs), Pink Ladys! I haven't had a good apple in so long!


After errands Ive been trying to unpack and clean up a little bit but I have alot of time do that!


around 3:30 I wasn't exactly hungry but I know I needed to eat but more importantly take a break from running around all day I had a light dinner that really filled me up!

Fly like a bird sting like a bee

procrastination..

I stayed up till 1:30 last night doing homework so when my alarm went off at 7 I decided to go back to bed and sleep till 7:45 then eat breakfast after my 8 am so around 8:45 I had a nice bowl of oats with 1/2 a banana

for dinner I had paneras Thai Chicken Salad and french onion soup
I only used some of the dressing which I later found out I should have used all of it because it was only 30 calories then I picked out the wonton strips. I did not eat the cheese or croutons out of my soup
 the meal totaled out to be 170!

i came home and worked out I ran for 20 elliptical-ed for 20 and did legs
I came home starving at about 830 and had pumpkin yogurt and a rice cake with almond butter

trifecta

First day of lent was a success now I have 39 more. This morning I woke up craving something cold so I poured myself a glass of almond milk with a sprinkle of kashi. I had baked oatmeal today I found I like them better cold then hot.
It is a horrible picture but I have almond butter, cookie butter and coconut butter spread on top all equaling about 1tsp definitely worth the 30 calories

I gave up late night eating (after 9) so at 8:30 I had
1/2 greek yogurt
2 tbs pumpkin
splash of vanilla soymilk
topped with granola and kashi
splash of maple syrup

My workout today was very relaxing I did 15 mins on elliptical and 15 on the bike then I did a little bit of triceps and chest 6 sets then 6 sets of abbs! It was a very relaxing  enjoyable work out!
My lunch did not quite hold me over 2pm I was starving again I made some Pumpkin oatmeal (with water so it was less calories) 1/3 c oatmeal and 2/3 c water

The oatmeal kept me full an focused through out my workout all the way till 7pm when I had dinner which was
4oz grilled chicken

I also cut out a little piece of flat out and had smeared some nut butter on it with coconut and rolled up 1/3 of a banana in it! The perfect most enjoyable treat!
